In contrast, wired transmission communication technology plays an important role in communication engineering due to its stability, high bandwidth and low latency. However, there are still many problems with wired transmission technology, so it needs to be constantly evolved in the process of networking to adapt to emerging communication modes. Based on this, this paper analyzes the advantages of wired transmission technology in communication engineering and its network improvement measures in order to promote the innovative development of wired communication technology and make it better meet future communication challenges.

With the rapid development of science and technology and the increasing global information exchange, communication engineering, as an important cornerstone of modern society, is undergoing profound changes and innovations. In the field of communication, wired transmission technology continues to show remarkable advantages with its characteristics such as stability, reliability and high bandwidth. Wired transmission technology overcomes problems such as signal interference and bandwidth limitation in wireless communication technology, so it is widely used in fields such as finance, medical care and industry with high requirements for stable communication. However, with the rise of intelligent devices, cloud computing and the Internet of Things, communication needs have gradually developed from traditional data transmission to requirements for intelligence, efficiency and security, which poses new challenges to wired transmission technology. Therefore, wired transmission technology needs to actively seek innovation and improvement to adapt to the changing communication environment, so as to better meet the needs of modern society.

I. Advantages of wired transmission communication technology in communication engineering

(I) Stability and reliability

Cable transmission and optical fiber transmission are important transmission forms of wired transmission technology. The transmission of data through this physical medium significantly improves the stability and reliability of communication .

The internal insulation layer and shielding layer of cable transmission can effectively protect the signal from external electromagnetic interference, and has a strong resistance to external interference and noise. It is suitable for industrial environments and other scenarios with more electromagnetic interference. The optical signal in optical fiber transmission is not easily affected by electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference. It has strong anti-interference ability, and the optical signal cannot be simply eavesdroped, so it has a high degree of security.

Optical fiber transmission will not produce electromagnetic waves, which has little impact on the environment and human health. Twisted pair transmission is also a wired transmission mode, which can support different data rates and protocols, has flexibility, and also supports high transmission rates, and has anti-interference ability and stability.

In summary, compared with wireless transmission, wired transmission is not easily interfered by spectrum congestion, electromagnetic interference, weather and other factors. By transmitting data within a fixed transmission medium, wired technology eliminates the impact of external instability on the signal, thus ensuring a more consistent data transmission quality, which has the advantages of safety and reliability.

Wired transmission communication technology usually has a low transmission delay, because the signal propagates at the speed of light or near the speed of light in the wired medium, which is crucial for real-time applications, such as online games, video conferencing and remote surgery, which require instant response and high synchronization.
